Warning* This one takes some patience to setup. Nimbuzz Lite allows you to use aim, yahoo, msn and other instant messenger programs on your boost mobile phone. This program is really laggy on my i335 and I can't seem to get past the login screen. So you may experience the same issues. 1: Go here and download nimbuzz lite click here. 2: Go to this site and follow the directions. click here 3: Go to nimbuzz.com and sign up for an account if you don't already have one. When going through the installation process this program had a few bugs. Such as having to hit the OK button several times, long waiting periods, etc.. Some people have had no issues while others still can not get it to work 100%. Let me know if you have been able to get it to work or not. |

If you are a texting fiend on an iDEN carrier, Motorola has an upcoming phone that will provide relief for your tired T9 typing fingers. Sometime in 2009 Motorola is expected to release the i465, an iDEN handset with a full front facing QWERTY keyboard. The inclusion of a QWERTY keyboard gives the candybar phone a slight bulge at the bottom but the ease of typing presumably outweighs any un-attractiveness this extra girth provides. The i465 runs a plain jane feature phone OS with Bluetooth 2.0 and a VGA camera. The specific release date, specs, pricing and potential carriers are still unknown but Sprint looks to be preparing to make a run with Boost this year so don’t be surprised if the i465 pops up. Boost: Virgin Mobile’s Plan Turns into $72 By Monica Alleven WirelessWeek - April 10, 2009 You could say Boost Mobile picked a fight, and it’s still throwing punches in the battle for prepaid customers. Yesterday, Virgin Mobile grabbed headlines with its new $50 plan, but Boost didn’t waste anytime putting out a release of its own saying that Virgin’s $50 plan quickly adds up to a $72 monthly plan when text messaging, Web and telecom taxes are thrown into the mix. Boost came out earlier this year with its own $50 plan that includes unlimited nationwide talk, text and multimedia messaging, wireless Web access and walkie-talkie services. It says it doesn’t add any more taxes or fees on top of that $50. |
